What are inside the Gift Shop?

Today's photo is the gift shop at the second floor of Gold City complex. Inside surprisingly, there are a lot of beautiful handicrafts from the gulf regions; precious stones, persian carpets, embroidered cushion covers, antiques, lacquerwares and many more. I should go back there again as I need to find some gifts for my family on my next trip home.

Well guys, what do you like most when you go to a gift shop?

Costa Cafe at Adliya

Today photo is a Costa cafe located next to HSBC bank in Adliya. After doing some bussines at the bank, I ended up cooling myself there with a strong coffee at Costa. Just another nice experience.

Something Old and Something New

Today's photo is a modern Bahraini house which still brings the traditional style in its design. The surrounding walls or fences must be the modern aspect but the upper part, undoubtedly the traditional Bahraini design with its Wind Tower and its famous brown desert colouring.

Shajarat Al Hayah or The Tree of Life

Today photo is a famous tree in Bahrain called The Tree of Life or in arabic translated as Shajarat Al Hayah. Actually I already posted it yeterday but today I want to show how it looks from afar. It is a very old tree of 400 year old and considered as a natural wonder. It stands alone in a desert near Al Areen area. Until today, the source of its water still remains a mystery because it stands in a place completely out of water.

It is a mesquite tree and the reason why it survives the harshes life of the desert you could find here at Wikipedia (Lol I am doing a little research on this one).
