- Hi welcome to my DP blog! I am an Indonesian living and working in Bahrain, the smallest Arab nation in the Gulf. Despite the harsh weather and unfriendly dry landscape, living in Bahrain is quite nice. There are Malls, the city Shouks, Parks and Historical places we can visit. Most pictures are taken with digital camera and sometime with cell phone and some are donated from good friends. You'd think they wouldn't need a park for camels since you live in the desert and they are everywhere, right?
Hi Abid, the camel farm is a only a divisional part of the park, it is more for recreational and attraction division. Besides, fyi camel is not really widely used in Bahrain now; as the nation has widely embraced modernity of city life which means there are more cars than camel. Al Areen Wild Life is the last wild life reservation in mainland Bahrain (if I am not mistaken heheh)
I find people riding camels such a beautiful image! I've seen that in some countries and I've done some camel ride too, but polluting cars have been replacing them everywhere...
