Roof Top View

Since moving to my new flat in Juffair, I am kinda missing my old flat in Sanabis, first I miss the sunrise view from my living room and the little mosque in the corner street which always wake me up in the early morning for my early morning pray.

Well the shot here is the daily view that I get everytime I open my window curtain. Duh not much to see, just the same dull roof top view!!

Yellow is The Colour (Again)

Yellow is indeed my favorite choice of colour! Though it is not a really good match for my dark complexion. He he he Honestly speaking, I have 5 Yellow T-Shirts now! Thats why this yellow colour attracts me at the first place.

Do not you like yellow? My other favorite colour are Red, Black and Navy and btw Red is 2008's colour!

Bus Stop

While waiting for a friend at a hospital, I got a little bit bored and decided to go outside, to see the busy traffic and then I saw a public bus stop at outside road. It looks like the other bus stop at any place but there is one missing piece on this one. There is no chair nor seat for the user while waiting for the bus. Hmm That makes me thinking. I guess I am going to ask Yaqoob, my Bahraini friend about this, He might know something!

Wish me Luck on my search!

American Mission Hospital

This is a shot of the entrance of American Misson Hospital in Juffair. It came into being for almost 115 years ago when the missionaries began their medical work in 1893 as where the building was then completed in 1903.

Currently it is under the gracious support of HM The King, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, and the King's late father HH The Amir, Shaikh Isa bin Sulman Al-Khalifa. Please go here if you want to know more information about the hospital.

I am accompanying my good friend there for a medical check up. He is having a fever, sore throat and never ending coughing. From the information I got from the reception, there is about 70 % of population in Bahrain is having respiratory problem now due to the changing weather tha followed by sandstorm. As I mentioned on earlier posting, there are some heavy and bad sandstorm now and this respiratory problem caused by it. Honestly, I am having a slight soreness in my throat now. I hope I would not be catching any sickness now. I am taking some high dose Vitamic C daily, just in case!!

Well have a nice day all!

Petunias, The Sight for the Sore Eyes

Here is another shot of Petunias at Al Areen, as I mentioned on earlier posting, this is the most favorite flower here planted during Winter and Spring seasons. The bright colouration is indeed a sight for a sore eye in the plain desert colour.
