Summer Sign

Everyday, I am passing this flower bed near the buggy parking area and suddenly today I just have the urge to frame it and share it with everybody here. I still do not know the name in local language nor the English one for it.

Anybody know the name of this beautiful yellow flower?

Winter is officially over and here comes the Spring!

Yellow is The Colour (Again)

Yellow is indeed my favorite choice of colour! Though it is not a really good match for my dark complexion. He he he Honestly speaking, I have 5 Yellow T-Shirts now! Thats why this yellow colour attracts me at the first place.

Do not you like yellow? My other favorite colour are Red, Black and Navy and btw Red is 2008's colour!

In Bahrain, Flowers blossom and grow abundantly in winter. Do you know the reason why? Because it is only the season with rain in this hemisphere or area which allow plants to grow and sprout their flower. Would that answer the question? LOL

Winter's Flower

Winter is coming now in Bahrain Hooorayyyyy! Please do not get me wrong!!!!! Winter in Bahrain means a cooler weather, lots of rain (I am still not sure about this year, but last year it was very wet :P so let see then!) and I can go out taking pictures all day long without worry much of the the hot desert sun Halah!Here is my first posting of flowers commonly found in Bahrain! Dunno the name but its nice , is not it? Anyway, here is a poem I found from one of the book here published in Bahrain, Any of you know about him?

The bee-through many a garden roves,

And hums his lay of courtship o'er,
