Waiting for Sunset

This is the photo of the beach side infront Isa Cultural Center which is also adjacent to Grand Mosque Al Fateh. The water level during the day time until late afternoon near Sunset is always low as you can see in this picture. In a couple hour after sunset, this ground will be filled with seawater.

Some families, youngster, couples and joggers always come here and wait to see the sunset. It was a windy day and I was almost finishing my jogging trek. The sunset was not really pretty as it was very foggy due to the current sandstorm season. The breeze of fresh sea air was was very mind calming and I promise to myself that I will come here on my every joffing trek.

Have a nice day Y'all!

Blue Sky Behind The Trees

In the last few days, the weather had changed in Bahrain. I am feeling that the weather is a lot cooler now, escpecially in the evening. Last two evenings, there were dark cloud in the sky. It will be lots of rain this Autumn and Winter. These are the most waiting seasons in Bahrain.

Yup, Most of us might think that there is no way that there wil be rain in Bahrain as what most people would assume about the weather in Bahrain; being located in Middle East and all. So let me explain about the climate in Bahrain.

The best time to be around in Bahrain is during the period of spring or autumn. The climate is indeed pleasant during this time with the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze around. And this is very evident at the end of the season. In fact, it gets extremely humid at times becoming quite unbearable. Besides, the local bahrainis even call a dry northwesterly wind as "Al Barah".

However, the winters are not only cool but they are also accompanied by rainfall. The low-pressure systems (what is low pressure system? please go here at Wiki), which are created in most area in Bahrain influence the weather change in Bahrain during the winters. The strangest part about Bahrain climate is that the winters down here produce much of rains. Surprise, is not it? I can not wait to see and take the first rain shot.

Al Fateh Avenue

Today's photo is a bird's view of Al Fateh avenue. It was taken by Leah, one of my Indonesian friends in Bahrain. We both have been dubbed as the twin photographers as at any outing or trip we make, we both always talk about what to shoot where to go. During the driving, we both always ask "can we stop here for one minute please, It is beautiful here and I need to shot it?". I hope that they will never get tired of our desperate pleas now and then.

It is very funny some time and I owe a great deal to whoever in the driver seat. They give a great contribution to Sanabis DP. Hip hip hooray to the drivers!!! Thanks Lea, Adi, Dian and the taxi drivers.
