The Tree's shade under the blaring Summer Sun

Today's photo is the shot of the garden on the entrace of Bahrain National Museum. This shot will be the last shot for Bahrain National Museum Series. We were venturing to this spot after leaving the main building entrance whilst seeking for some new worth shot for Sanabis DP. Alas, the sun was so hot as it was already sometime after midday and we seeked the cooler shade under the trees.

The garden itself is quite nice but unfortunately we could not find any place to sit. I believe that some chairs will do very good. The pathway was full of dried leaves and I guess that the blarring hot sun had made everybody stay indoor and stopped any activities. It was very quiet and we heard many bird's singing and chirping sounds ahead of us from the top of the trees.

What about your garden in your country, Dear readers? Is it different?

Summer Sign

Everyday, I am passing this flower bed near the buggy parking area and suddenly today I just have the urge to frame it and share it with everybody here. I still do not know the name in local language nor the English one for it.

Anybody know the name of this beautiful yellow flower?

King Fahd Bridge

Aerial picture of the bridge that connect Bahrain and KSA
This is a picture of bridge part of King Fahd Causeway. I dubbed it as King Fahd Bridge. This multiple dike-bridge combination is connecting Bahrain and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, oh I just found out that what KSA stands for LOL where have I been all these time :P).

Anyway, this magnificent construction was built and finished in relatively short period by considering its complicated detail project. It was signed in 1981, followed by cornerstoner laying by the late King Fadh of Saudi Arabia and Sheikh Isa bin Salman al-Khalifa. It was officially opened for use on November 25, 1985. It spans 25 km long and it costs US$ 1.2 billion. Wah!!
Do you guys have a monstrous size building or anything back home?

Bahrain is famous of its date fruit and pearl diving boat. I happen to catch them during driving around with my mates. I promise i will get a better picture in the future.

Have you ever tried date fruit before? Beside its sweetness, It's very nutrious and high in fibre. Ramadhan is coming soon and it will be one of the favourite food for ifthar. I love Date fruit!!!

Sanabis from the Sky

Today it is still very hot here in Bahrain as The Summer is almost at its end. The weather will be getting cooler on September which will be next month.

It is 43 Celcius degree now outside and I am so lucky for being inside an airconed office. The picture I am showing to everybody now is not actually taken by camera but I save it from Google Earth.

As I said on my earlier post that the area where I live is a part of sea reclamation project in Bahrain. From 4664 feet in the air, the area looks so empty. Halah give it another 6 months there will be more building around us.
